M54 is a dynamic music collective founded in Amsterdam South East. Inspired by the diversity of the diaspora, they strive for connection among different communities. The current members, hailing from Suriname, embrace the cultural melting pot in their music, incorporating influences from Indonesia, India, Africa, and China. With a unique blend of amapiano, afrobeat, afrotrap, and other Afro-inspired genres, they create an exhilarating sound. M54 has gained recognition within and beyond Amsterdam South East, celebrating diversity and inclusion in the Afro-diaspora through their releases and live performances. They remain active in connecting communities through their music.
